Introduction
Skipping involves both freestyle and speed skills. Freestyle skills can be completed using single or double dutch ropes. They are often performed to music and can be undertaken individually or in a group. Speed skipping involves timed events where the skipper’s steps are counted. Speed skipping events can also be completed in single and double dutch ropes, and include skills such as ‘double unders’ and ‘triple unders’. Below you’ll find instructional videos that will help you gain skipping skills – from the basic jump without a rope to the “Moneymaker”, arguably the hardest level 7 trick.
